Policy RotationIndiana Osteopathic Association (IOA) Public Health Policy ClerkshipThe IOA Public Health Policy elective clerkship is available for one MU-COM fourth-year student during the months of January, February, and March 2025. The elective qualifies for 5 hours of elective credit, and introduces students to the state legislative process and public health policy development. Students spend time shadowing the IOA Executive Director and lobbyists to see state government in action. They have an opportunity to observe sessions of the Indiana General Assembly, attend health related legislative committee hearings, talk with legislators, and participate in state agency, and stakeholder meetings.
